It is now just after 10:00 a.m. here in Salem, Oregon, U.S. of A. I have much to do. I awoke this morning after "almost" six hours of sleep. Yes, I have insomnia. Today is no different than any other day. I wake up needing more sleep and my back hurts. I hate having arthritis in my spine. After playing an online game and tending to my e-mails, etc.... I am now blogging my hopes/plans for the day. Today I hope to clean up the sanctuary and prep it for a small paint job as well as clean the one cage that is currently in use. I also need to take pictures of two items that I "have" to sell because I lack funds to make the sanctuary a better place (such as a window that is duct taped because it is broken needs to be replaced, curtains for the windows as there are no curtains and proper ramps so the ferrets can be more "free range"). After all of that, I "might" be able to go into my novel and begin to revamp it. I hope that I can get to it despite nearly cutting off the tip on my left index finger off yesterday trying to open a package of swiss cheese (with a knife) to make a turkey/swiss/lettuce/tomato/mayo sandwich on white bread. Anyway, I hope to be able to blog more later today (either during my day to give me a break or at the end of the day for a summation). So, PLEASE, wish me luck that I am successful in doing what I have to do so that I may be able to work on the novel. Thank you, keep sweet and blessed be everyone!
My apologies. I forgot to include a link to the Ferret sanctuary in my last blog. Here it is. http://www.willametteweaselsanctuary.com . I sincerely hope that you can help me so that I may help these little angels. Blessed be and keep sweet everyone! A few years ago I got curious about Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband and his name. So, I went to Wiki and read about him. I discovered that he had bought his title by way of an adult adoption. Adult adoption? Yes! Crazy as it sounds, it can be done. My opinion is that he did it for evil purposes. I then thought that "Wow! It must be nice to be able to afford to buy a title". From there, I started my search to see if it was possible to buy a title and if I could buy a title... I would use is for the better. In my search, I came across http://www.lochaberhighlandtitles.com (also known as http://www.highlandtitles.com and http://www.lairdoflochaber.com ) . I read everything that they had on their pages. I loved the idea of the preservation of the Highlands of Scotland. The land of my ancestors. The land (Scotland) that someday I hope to take my grand-mother (Virginia Borthwick) to as we are cousins of the current Lord Borthwick. I then developed "tunnel vision". I wasn't going to rest until I had my title. My birthday was drawing near. I begged and pleaded to be given cash so that I may get my title. I was successful! Within a week of my birthday, I had my title. Now that I had it and I aided in keeping one square foot of the highlands away from any future land developers... how could I use it for the better here in the new world? Over the next few years and much self research, I had decided to write (in an effort to help others with post-traumatic-stress disorder due to childhood abuses) as well as an animal activist for ferrets (which are currently being used in medical labs for tumor research). Now that the ball is slowly rolling, I hope that others will take note of my title and learn about childhood abuses, p.t.s.d. and ferrets. So, wish me luck as I continue to blog about writing my many novels and running the ferret sanctuary. Keep sweet and blessed be everyone! | ArchivesMarch 2012 Categories |
